[ Yeah... she understands. She closes the door with her foot, then comes over to put the plate and cups on the desk. ]

I... don't even know how much of it I've seen before less than a year ago.

Mm. Where I lived, before coming here--Washington?--it's beautiful. Mountains, forests... [ She's not mentioning the ocean because the ocean sucks now. ] There's so much to explore. My brother used to take me to the parks, where we'd hike around... We saw so many different animals and trees.

Being outdoors, taking things at your own pace... It could be exhausting, but there's nothing else like it.

Oh, that's where... Seattle's there, right? I read about it in... I had an atlas, I think Della has it now. It seems really nice.

Yes, exactly. I live very close to there, actually and it's where I go to school, so I know it well.

My sense of direction isn't the greatest, but... I could make an alright tour guide.

We could. I'd say it would be better than wandering around aimlessly, but... some of the best discoveries are made that way.

That's true! There's all kinds of neat stuff downtown there, supposedly. The Space Needle, that music museum... and hey, if we wander far enough, there's always the Fremont Troll! ... But I guess you don't need me to tell you about where you live.
