G works pretty fast, and it's not really something you can turn off once it gets going - though I guess it's good to know it's not just dormant or something, because that was why I was trying to discourage bloodletting as a solution this past weekend.

I also didn't know because I had no way to know how much time I was missing between what I last remember and being brought here, and if all that missing time was spent in your people's charming company. But no, I wasn't infected before that, and there's no way I could have been without knowing it.
