OFFICE HOURS
Got something you want to say to your good friend The Professor's Assistant? Come on in, don't be shy! Her official hours are daylight hours - girl has to sleep? after all, probably - but if you knock on the door at night she'll generally answer. Please just make sure to leave the in-game date and time in the header of your toplevel!

You'd be amazed how little shelf space they take up, even with the crystals growing out of them. But more importantly what's a Tupilaq?

[ she turns around and grabs a couple friends from the shelf behind her, placing them on the desk. ]
That would be these guys.

Aha! Shoot, I remembered the other reason I came to see you! I had a request, from outside the experiment.

I don't know a lot about the ritual side of things, but... they're pretty cool.
Oh! Yeah, shoot, of course!

And if possible... [Time for a shot in the dark.] A lyrium potion?
no subject
Well, I can definitely look into a first aid kit... but we can't really pull items at will from the machine, if that makes sense? And lyrium doesn't really exist in this world. So unless it got pulled and put into the vending machine, that one probably isn't happening, just so you know.

I understand. I'm not entirely sure what all is hiding in there so I thought it couldn't hurt to try. Attempt a few experiments of my own.

Yeah, I guess it just... hadn't come up yet. Anything else you're looking for?
i definitely didn't accidentally delete this, shhh
I am curious though. If the Professor was able to pull us in, why would he limit you to just giving us things from this world?
IT IS OK DEAR FRIEND
[ She wiggles a hand. ]
It costs a lot to open the machine just to pull a couple things in.
no subject
"Costs a lot"? What kind of cost?

[ Angel has such a good poker face about this!! ]
Money, mostly. And energy, but getting more of that comes down to money, too.

Right, right, the professor has mentioned his funding before. [She reaches into her bag again to give Princess a little ear rub.] His patron must have some deep pockets, keeping this experiment funded for so long already.
no subject
The company is... they sure aren't hurting for funds right now, no.
