I... managed things. Assets, mostly, for his company. And there was something he needed me to do, something he needed me to get. And as long as he was using me for that, I was trying to figure out a way to help someone else get rid of him. But... it turned out they needed to get rid of me, first.

Well... my body can process Eridium, that purple stuff, into huge amounts of an energy he needed for one of his projects. There aren't a lot of people in the whole universe who can do that, so... with me gone, that's a pretty major setback for him. He doesn't have me, he doesn't get The Warrior.

Yeah, he's... not great. For a lot of reasons.

[ Taking a moment to soothe her anger, Della sets the halves of pencil down and spreads her hands out over her notepad. ]
