Why would they? The ones who are inclined to talk to you are probably the decent ones, from what I've seen of the people here. Or if not straight-out decent, they want to act like they are. They're not going to be assholes to you if they think they can get anything worthwhile out of you.

So they're either nice or they're going to be strategically so. Either way, not too inclined to tell you anything too negative.

It's actually kind of weirding me out, the amount of decent people here. I get that no one's going to be spilling their secrets all over each other, hell knows I'm not. But I'm kind of used to people being more...

Where I came from a bunch of people would have been dead already, and we're only a couple days in. Welcome to the Umbrella Corporation, home of "fuck you, got mine." So I sort of get why I'm here from an interest standpoint, maybe, even if I still think it's a total objective waste of resources. But the decent ones are kind of weirding me out.

Unless they're supposed to be cannon fodder, I guess.

Umbrella... doesn't exactly seem like it's full of happy-go-lucky people, even from just what I have here. As for the experiment, though, even I didn't get told how The Professor to recoup his losses. That's between him and his funding, I guess.
