Week 1 Friday Lunchtime

[Nira knocks on the door again. She's got a sandwich with her, this time.]

Hi Angel, are you in right now?

Yup! C'mon in!

[ladygeryon]

[Nira enters with a smile, Aria trotting beside her.] I was wondering if you'd like some company for lunch today.

[didntgetdadslooks]

[ Angel nods. ]

I wouldn't mind company, sure. Go ahead and take a seat!

[ladygeryon]

[Nira smiles as she sits down and takes a bit of meat out of her sandwich to offer to Aria.]

So, do you get your meals from the same place as us? Or is the big secret behind that door just an employee cafeteria?

[ Angel laughs a little. ]

I get more of a... an apartment, I guess, than you guys. Sometimes I go and grab some of the overnight stuff from where you guys are, though.

Really? Is our stuff actually better quality, or is it just more convenient?

I don't get a full spread of snack food at night.

[ladygeryon]

You don't keep any boxes of snacks in your room?

[didntgetdadslooks]

I didn't say that. But I can't exactly run to the store, you know?

[...right, her profile talks about wanting to see the outside world after "this is all over."] I guess not. Do they usually have snacks you like, at least?

I can find things. Pretty much anything beats the cafeteria food back where I was before this.

Before this? Did...the Professor bring you from another world as well?

I... no, that's not it. I lived at the other facility, where The Professor is now.

[ladygeryon]

[Oh. Nira nods a little.] Kinda surprised he wouldn't keep the better food for his own side.

He... definitely doesn't eat at the cafeteria. But you guys are definitely eating better than the workers over there.

[ladygeryon]

[More nodding.] So he's kind of a private guy, huh? Even in his own part of the building?

[didntgetdadslooks]

Yep. I think a lot of people over there are scared of him.

[ladygeryon]

Does he threaten any of them? Or is it just because they don't know him very well?
