OFFICE HOURS
Got something you want to say to your good friend The Professor's Assistant? Come on in, don't be shy! Her official hours are daylight hours - girl has to sleep? after all, probably - but if you knock on the door at night she'll generally answer. Please just make sure to leave the in-game date and time in the header of your toplevel!

Couple things. Are you allowed to tell any of the others here what we talk about?

Not unless you want me to. Kind of a... doctor-patient confidentiality kind of thing. I'm supposed to actively interfere as little as possible.

[ SIR, YOUR VIBES, ]

Good to know. Because you're working for the guy keeping us here, and he's giving me major Marcus vibes. Needless to say, I don't like those all that much. So I don't like you by extension, and I really think I'd have to fucking choke you out eventually if I had to play nice with you like I do with all the other dumb bitches in here.

You didn't exactly strike me as the nicest guy in here. Well, you certainly don't have to like me if you don't want to, that's your call.

[He'd be disappointed if she did back down any, honestly. He's not here for weak-willed opponents, direct or otherwise.]
So how much do you know about me, anyway? I imagine your little friend filled you in, but I'm curious about the extent.

At the bottom of the ocean in a facility without a manager. Doesn't exactly take a scientist to figure out why that's not a great position to be in.
[ She takes out her tablet, skimming through something with her fingers. ]
The Professor gave me a decent writeup. Doctorate at 14, virology studies, Albert Wesker, and uh... all that leech stuff you did, for a start.

[He's pretty sure Al's dead, anyway. He shot himself up with viruses because he thought they'd give him superpowers, after all. Because he's a simple as fuck man and he listens to what Birkin tells him to do, like a good boy.]
To be way fairer to me than I probably deserve, I inherited the leech stuff. I just perfected it. It turned out pretty well for me, I think. Not so great for Raccoon City, sure, but sometimes that happens.
[This fuckin' guy.]
I'm more curious about if you know what I was doing before I got dragged here, because I'm pretty sure I should be bleeding out on the floor of my lab. Also probably horrifying Annette, incidentally, she was in the next room over.

[ She looks up from the tablet, where she's been reading for the last bit, touching her ear for a second. William might notice, if he looks hard enough, that there's a very small earpiece in there. ]
I don't think it's saying too much to let him know he wasn't teleported straight into his room- yes. Alright.
[ Angel sighs, lowering her hand. ]
The point is, we took care of it.

There should have been a case with me. Do you have any idea what happened to that? I know better than to assume I'll be allowed to have it here, and frankly, I wouldn't trust me with it either, but is that somewhere along with all the other shit you took off my person or what?
[He's trying really hard to sound casual about that last part, too, but it's not quite there, not quite up to the usual he's been showing her since he came in here; the case is a bit more of a sensitive subject, really.]
It's...fine if you don't have it, I guess, Annette knows better than to let anything happen to the contents. But I'd really like to know if it's here, at least.
no subject
You didn't arrive with a case. It's probably where you left it, but all I can say for sure is it's not one of your possessions we have.
no subject
[Just saying.]
I guess my main question is why bother saving me if you're just going to bring me here to die? Seems like a weird amount of effort to go to, especially for someone who isn't exactly the nicest guy, like you said.
no subject
I don't exactly get let in on a lot of stuff like that. You'd have to take it up with The Professor, if he ever feels like answering questions again.
no subject
[He shrugs though. Eh.]
It hardly matters to me. I get the good end of the deal out of it, after all.
no subject
[ She nods. ]
I guess you do, yeah.
no subject
[He says, like he's asking about the weather.]
As of one of two surviving graduates of the Umbrella Executive Training Center, people don't do things like this if they're having a great life.

[That...actually isn't angry at all? It also doesn't exactly sound disbelieving, just...what the hell.]

[Like he said, dumb bitches.]
Sometimes you end up owing shitty people, and I can respect that. I still owe some shitty people. No sympathy for it, though.

So they're either nice or they're going to be strategically so. Either way, not too inclined to tell you anything too negative.
